Bonny Eagle Adult Education will be moving to Jack Memorial School some time this fall. We will have twice the space that we do at the Hollis Learning Center, we’ll have our own gym in a more modern facility, and we will be closer to the Middle and High Schools. We also plan to locate some Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) classes at Jack starting in 2011.
The move to Jack is part of the district’s overall plan on using the former elementary schools when the new Buxton Center Elementary School (BCES) opens this fall. The priority is to get the children and staff moved into the new school. Once this happens, minor renovations will be done at Jack, and then Adult Education will move.
We’re excited about our new home, and are sure to have an Open House once we’re all moved in. Please visit our website for updates on our move date. We hope you’ll visit us there!

Forty-seven adults graduated from Bonny Eagle this year! Out of these graduates one was 70 years old, there was a husband and wife and two women were sisters. Everyone of them rose to their individual challenges and did the work they needed to do to earn their high school credential.
If you'd like to be among next year's graduates, or know someone who never graduated from high school, contact us at cwalz@sad6.k12.me.us or 929-9485.![]()
