Would you like to go to college, but haven't done math in years? This course covers the basics: fractions, percentages, proportions, and beginning algebra. The Accuplacer test will be given at the beginning and end of the semester. Math Essentials will make math relevant to your life and improve your Accuplacer score. Join adult education’s long-running book club as we discuss a variety of books: contemporary and classic, fiction and non-fiction. For the first meeting on January 27th, we will read The Overstory, a novel by Richard Powers. Bring three book suggestions for those early meetings so we can build a reading list.
